What are Skin Boosters?

The skin boosters are microinjections of hyaluronic acid into the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in skin, joints and muscles. It ensures deep and natural hydration to the skin by retaining water a thousand times its weight. Dermal fillers, which are applied beneath the skin to give it volume and shape, skin boosters, in contrast, activate the fibroblasts and promote new collagen and elastin formation and results in healthy-looking, young and hydrated skin. You can have a skin booster on the face, neck, decollate and hands to give them hydration and a more youthful-looking glow.

Procedures that use lasers or sonic waves, and even surgery to remove fat, can actually destroy other tissue in the process by burning, shattering, or extracting non-fat cells. This requires downtime for your body to heal.  Fortunately, Cryo-sculpting doesn’t burn, shatter, or extract any cells. Developed by Harvard scientists, this unique, FDA-cleared, patented procedure, uses a targeted cooling process that kills the fat cells underneath the skin, literally freezing them to the point of elimination. Only fat cells are frozen. Your healthy skin cells remain healthy. No knives. No suction hoses. No needles. No scars. Once crystallized, the fat cells die and are naturally eliminated from your body. In a few months, boom! Say hello to a new you!

+ How are skin boosters different from dermal filler?

Hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers give volume to lips and cheeks to provide them with a healthier and plumper look by lifting and volumising effect. Dermal fillers are stiff and clumpier due to their internal cross-linking bond of hyaluronic acid. On the other hand, Skin boosters don't use lifting and volumising effect, and they don't have internal cross-linkage. You can take skin boosters as hydrating serums in the injectable form used to give glow, hydration and improve skin quality and texture.
